An award-winning journalist, Hanqing has a decade of newsroom experience at The Straits Times and The New Paper, and was named Singapore Press Holdings' Young Journalist of the Year in 2009. Before leaving the newsroom to found Inkspire Group, she was also Special Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief, working internally and externally with various strategic stakeholders to develop specialised content. Since then, Hanqing has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the creative agency industry, creating innovative editorial content that consistently delivers high-impact value to our clients.
Her client list includes Economic Development Board, DBS, Maybank, Page Group, and Ministry of Education. A graduate of University of California - Berkeley, Hanqing has a double degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics, and was a recipient of the Singapore Press Holdings Undergraduate Overseas Scholarship.
Formerly a special correspondent and copyeditor with The Straits Times News Desk, Yen is known for his talent to deliver creative copy with clarity, speed, and style. He is also Inkspire Group's in-house style expert who ensures language consistency throughout our clients' editorial products. His extensive portfolio includes creating compelling narratives and high-impact brand stories for some of Singapore's largest public and private organisations.
With over a decade of content development experience, Yen has consulted and written for IDEO Singapore, National Environment Agency, Jurong Town Corporation, Ministry of Health, and Singapore Tourism Board, among others. A recipient of the Singapore Press Holdings Undergraduate Overseas Scholarship and graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York, Yen is also a founding member of the International Association of Religion Journalists and a former media advisor to the United Nations' Alliance of Civilisations.
